…seeing as he pretty much ended his Budget speech with “One more thing” in his income tax cut.

Well, it was “One further announcement”, but there’s not that much difference!

    TBH if either Jobs or Brown told me the time of day I’d ask for independently audited confirmation.

    Well given he’d dropped Corporation tax by 2% earlier on (though raising tax by 2% for contractor companies at the same time) it was clear he was going to make a similar announcement on personal taxation if he wanted to live ^H^H^H^H get re-elected. Let’s not forget though that he also pushed the 10% rate up to 20% so effectively *doubling* tax for some people

    Oh, as an independent contractor I know 🙂

    I suspect he was hoping the reality distortion field would rub off on him. I don’t think it worked…
