Web site of the day: free SMS from Gizmo

The folk at the GizmoProject (a Skype alternative) have just put up a site for sending SMS texts to mobile phones in many different countries.

It’s a bit on the slow side (so probably not for urgent messages), but it looks as though it’s a good alternative to some of the more expensive methods out there, even if the CAPTCHAs mean you can’t automate the process…

    I tried sending one to myself to test it, but I never received it. (It could of course be human error)
