Here’s a (rather noisy) video of the hamster-controlled robot I wrote about in one of my CES pieces for The Register

    Part of me wonders how long it’ll be before we see these things properly networked [I’d suggest something like FoxBoard as a starting-point – it’s got Bluetooth and several serial/parallel interfaces] so your hamster can end up navigating someone-else’s robot round their house for them.

    Next comes the networked Mowbot and the ability to terrorise your neighbour’s barbecue-party….

    Well, there’s a decent PIC board for it already, and the 25-pin port is fully documented, so it should be easy enough to fit any PIC you want (for electronic engineer values of easy).
