And of course there’s this excellent book on website accessibility, with its rather unfortunate cover image

(Full text is freely readable on-line too!)

I am showing my naiveté… or my muso-roots… or both… because all I could think of was Van Morrison’s wonderful wonderful A Sense of Wonder

Mmm – the hand position seems a bit inside-out to me, if you see what I mean.

Mark Morford, who writes for the SF Gate and all sorts of people seem to quote from time to time (simply because he is that damn good), made passing mention to “the hideous Goatse.cx phenomenon” in a recent column. Like you, like anyone sensible, he linked to the Wikipedia article. However, should the article appear in print and people Google for it to find out what it’s about, I have a nasty feeling they’re going to find the image rather than the Wikipedia article… :-/

Oh, man! Let’s hope no one points that out to Ian Richardson. 0_o
